The City Tower (Mestská veža) is a slender 15th-century bell tower rising from Trenčín's main square, its Renaissance facade topped with a distinctive Baroque helmet. Climbing the narrow spiral staircase leads to a viewing platform with sweeping views over the colorful old town rooftops, the castle, and the surrounding hills. Originally part of the town's fortifications, it also served as a watchtower and a bell tower for the nearby parish church. The tower's clock mechanism and bells are still functional, adding to its historic charm.
