Hviezdoslavovo námestie is Bratislava's largest and most elegant square, named after the poet Pavol Országh Hviezdoslav. The square is flanked by the neo-Renaissance Slovak National Theatre and several embassies, giving it a stately atmosphere. It's a popular gathering place for festivals, concerts, and outdoor markets. Visitors can stroll along the tree-lined promenade, admire the statues, and relax at one of the many cafes.
