Urpín is a popular natural landmark rising above Banská Bystrica, providing hikers and nature lovers with sweeping vistas of the city and the Low Tatras. The hill is crisscrossed with trails suitable for a leisurely walk or a more vigorous climb. Along the way, benches and lookout points invite visitors to pause and take in the scenery.
