The Helix Bridge is Singapore's most distinctive pedestrian bridge, a curving, double-helix structure inspired by the shape of DNA, linking the Marina Centre area to the Marina Bay Sands precinct across the bay. Its illuminated, intertwining steel coils make it a striking sight, especially after dark when it glows, and the bridge offers some of the best vantage points over Marina Bay: the Sands resort, the Gardens by the Bay Supertrees, the ArtScience Museum, and the city skyline. Viewing platforms along it are perfect for photos.
