Cape Roxo (Pointe de Diogué) is the southernmost point of Senegal, where the Atlantic meets the Casamance River estuary. This remote headland features rugged cliffs, sandy beaches, and lush vegetation. It's a peaceful spot for hiking, birdwatching, and photography, with panoramic views of the coastline and the distant Bijagós Islands of Guinea-Bissau. The area is part of the Basse Casamance National Park, rich in mangroves and wildlife. Visitors can explore by foot or 4x4, enjoying the solitude and pristine environment.
