The Jeddah Flagpole is a striking landmark that held the title of the world's tallest flagpole from 2014 until 2021. Standing 171 meters high, it flies the Saudi national flag, which measures an impressive 49.5 by 33 meters. Located in the King Abdullah Square, the flagpole is surrounded by fountains and greenery, making it a popular gathering spot. Visitors can view the massive flag fluttering against the skyline and appreciate the engineering feat. The site is especially dramatic at night when the flagpole is illuminated.
