Mina is a valley located about 5 kilometers east of Mecca, transformed during Hajj into a massive tent city accommodating millions of pilgrims. It serves as the base for the stoning ritual at the Jamaraat Bridge and for overnight stays on the 8th, 11th, and 12th days of Hajj. The valley is filled with air-conditioned white tents, each designated for specific pilgrim groups, and features essential services like water stations, restrooms, and medical facilities. Pilgrims also pray and reflect here, creating a unique atmosphere of devotion and community.

Don't miss

  • Walk through the endless rows of identical white tents, a striking symbol of Hajj.
  • Visit the three jamaraat pillars located at the eastern end of the valley.
