Fakieh Aquarium

Fakieh Aquarium is one of Saudi Arabia's first public aquariums, located along Jeddah's scenic Corniche waterfront. It houses over 200 species of marine life, including sharks, rays, sea turtles, and colorful reef fish. The aquarium is divided into several themed zones, such as the Red Sea Gallery, the Amazon Rainforest exhibit, and a touch pool where visitors can interact with starfish and small rays. The highlight is the daily dolphin and seal shows in a dedicated outdoor amphitheater. The facility also includes a small museum showcasing marine artifacts and educational displays. Though compact, the aquarium offers a fun, family-friendly outing with a focus on local marine ecosystems. Its location next to Al Shallal Theme Park makes it easy to combine with other attractions.

Fakieh Aquarium opened in 1996 as a private initiative by the Fakieh family, aiming to educate the public about marine life and conservation. It has since become a landmark on Jeddah's Corniche.
