Pico do Príncipe rises 948 meters above sea level, cloaked in misty cloud forest. The hike to the summit is steep and requires a guide, taking about 4–5 hours round trip. Along the way, hikers pass through lush vegetation filled with endemic plants, orchids, and ferns. At the top, a 360-degree panorama reveals the island's green ridges, the town of Santo António, and the endless ocean. The trail is rugged but rewarding, offering one of the best vantage points in the biosphere reserve.
