Monkey Hill rises above Basseterre, providing one of the best vantage points in Saint Kitts. A short but steep hike leads to the summit, where visitors are rewarded with sweeping views of the city, the Caribbean Sea, and on clear days, the islands of Nevis and St. Eustatius. The hill is named for the green vervet monkeys that inhabit the area, often seen along the trail.
