Alexander Garden

Alexander Garden is a long, narrow park that runs along the western facade of the Moscow Kremlin. Established in the 19th century, it is a peaceful green space in the city center, popular for leisurely strolls. The garden's most significant feature is the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, a war memorial with an eternal flame and a granite inscription. Nearby, the Grotto Ruins, a man-made cave built from rubble of buildings destroyed in the War of 1812, adds a romantic, picturesque element. The garden also contains fountains, flowerbeds, and statues, making it a pleasant spot to rest after visiting the Kremlin or Red Square.
