Pavlov's House is a four-story apartment building that became a key stronghold during the Battle of Stalingrad. A platoon under Sergeant Yakov Pavlov held it for 58 days against relentless German attacks. The building's strategic location near the Volga River allowed defenders to control the surrounding area. Today, the restored building houses a museum with dioramas and artifacts. Visitors can see the exterior with a memorial plaque and the preserved interior showing the cramped, fortified conditions.

Don't miss

  • See the memorial plaque on the building's exterior commemorating the 58-day defense
  • View the diorama inside the museum depicting the building under siege
  • Examine original artifacts such as weapons, maps, and personal items of the defenders
