Nereditsa Church, officially the Church of the Transfiguration on Nereditsa Hill, is a small but significant landmark built in 1198. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site due to its exceptional cycle of 12th-century frescoes, which cover the interior walls and depict biblical scenes and saints. Despite damage during World War II, the church has been restored and remains a must-see for art and history enthusiasts. Its hilltop location offers views of the surrounding countryside.
