Just had a fantastic lunch here, a traditional Russian restaurant with some interesting dishes on the menu. I had sliced cold meats with a delicious borscht which was served with lard, bread and sour cream. They use smoked beef in the borscht, which was exceptionally tasty. All followed by their delicious Napoleon cake. To drink we had a litre of their homemade raspberry lemonade, which was lovely. I can highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the area of visiting Catherine's Palace, otherwise known as Yekaterin Palace. Service was excellent, with warm attentive staff.
Lovely place in a nicely redone older building. This makes it nice for visitors looking for old style history and atmosphere. I am not from Russia but love the country, culture, and people. The service here is good; friendly and accommodating. Love the food since I come for the traditional Russian cuisine. Thank you for the great experience. More foreigners should appreciate what Russia has to offer. I've always been treated well. I expect you all to be treated the same. Oh, and it's great to see the Christmas decorations in your restaurant. I forgot to say they gave us a complimentary pastry for desert. Above and beyond normal service. It, too, was good.
Very nice place with good traditional cuisine and friendly staff. The restaurant is spacious and comfortable and we really enjoyed our meal. Jelena
This restaurant it's a gem!! People is confused by the name, and think that the restaurant only do bread and something related with bread... But they have an amazing Russian kitchen. Very tasty food, delicious! And last but not least, they have kids room where you can find tables to enjoy the delicious food. Also, there is a dedicated toilet in the room with the needed amenities for parents and kids.
