The Tsarskoye Selo Lyceum is a historic school founded in 1811 to educate the sons of the nobility. Its most famous alumnus is Alexander Pushkin, who studied here from 1811 to 1817. Today, the building is a museum that recreates the lyceum's original classrooms, library, and dormitory rooms. Visitors can see Pushkin's small examination cell, the assembly hall where he recited his poems, and exhibits on his early life and works. The museum offers a vivid glimpse into the education that shaped Russia's greatest poet.
