I was staying at National Hotel nearby and walked in after reading the reviews. The staff is really friendly, the ambiance is amazing, and the food is great. I started with Octopus Carpaccio, which was as thinly sliced as possible, melting in the mouth. Next, I had glazed veal cheeks, and the dish was perfect. For dessert, I went with the trio of mini-desserts, accompanied by a double espresso. Every customer gets a custom embroidered napkin with their initials, which is a great souvenir. I'd definitely visit again whenever I'm in Moscow next.
it was a very disappointing experience. the hostess greeted me with a strange (unpleasant) look at my pregnant belly, then told me about the restaurant and asked for my and my husband's initials. We didn’t understand why this was necessary, we were expecting some kind of surprise. On the way to the taxi, I saw other guests of the restaurant with personalized napkins with initials, which they did not give to us. I don’t know why. Sad In general, the concept of the restaurant is very interesting, but the staff could not serve it to us at the proper level. Very sad. About food: orzo alla caccio e pepe tasted nothing like caccio e pepe, cheeks were very dry. The portions were small. After the main courses we wanted to leave, so we did. My mood was ruined ;(
Good atmospheric restaurant in the city centre. Italian dishes made with fresh ingredients. There is variety of tasty cocktails and big wine card. The idea of restaurant is to offer not only food but also fashion aesthetics. There are different clothing exhibitions which are changing 1-2 times per quarter. For example, there was an exhibition of costumes of serial “And just like that” (new season of “Sex in the city”).
We were only there for breakfast while staying at Ritz Carlton in Moscow. Food was great, your typical breakfast buffet, but restaurant staff made this breakfast a lot more enjoyable. Elena, is a morning shift supervisor (I think :) ) and she was just amazing. She spent some time with our kid, showed him and us attention. In fact, she was one of those people that life sends you to change your day, week or month. Truly a doll. Thank you, Elena :)
