Perched atop a hill and reached by a covered wooden stairway, the Church on the Hill is a Gothic basilica built in stages from the 13th to 15th centuries. Its interior features a notable collection of Renaissance frescoes, including a rare depiction of the Last Judgment, as well as a baroque organ and carved wooden pews. The adjacent cemetery contains centuries-old gravestones of Saxon families. From the churchyard, visitors enjoy a commanding view of the citadel's towers and the surrounding landscape. The site is a testament to the town's medieval religious and cultural heritage.
