Theresia Bastion is a surviving section of the Vauban-style fortress that once encircled Timișoara, built under Empress Maria Theresa. Today, visitors can walk along the restored ramparts and explore the dry moat, which hosts open-air events and exhibitions. The massive brick walls and arched gateways offer a tangible link to the city's Habsburg military past.
