Cossy place for a real Romanian experience. The staff is quick and friendly. Th menu is clear and well made making it easy to choose. They also have nice vegetarian options which I didn't try. The meatball soup was excellent and I really enjoyed the beetroot horseradish salad, nice and spicy in a horseradish way. It was a warm and flavorful experience. Thanks Vatra.
Good experience! We booked in advance but we were late, we called them and they kept our table with no problem:) As soon as we entered we saw a couple dancing a traditional dance in the traditional clothes. It was very nice and atmospheric. Our waiter (a young blond guy) was very nice. He gave advices about some dishes as we couldn’t choose. He was very kind and smiley. We took 3 different meat dishes and all of them were very good and tasty. The meat was tender; the apple strudel - fine. Nice place, no bad vibes
We came here for dinner looking for local România food. I guess this is basically what this restaurant is but it felt TOO touristic for us. Service was slow and unattentive. We don’t like one of the dishes and basically didn’t touch it and they couldn’t care less. They got one of the dishes wrong and simply made us wait quite a while to correct us and never bothered to apologize or compensate. We were quite disappointed
