Parque de Bombas is a historic fire station in downtown Ponce, instantly recognizable by its bold red-and-black striped facade. Built in 1883 as an exhibition pavilion, it later became the city's main firehouse. Today, it serves as a museum dedicated to firefighting history. Visitors can see vintage fire engines, photographs, and equipment, and learn about the heroic efforts of Ponce's firefighters. Its distinctive architecture and central location in Plaza Las Delicias make it a must-see landmark.
