Ramey Air Force Base operated from the 1940s to 1974, playing a key role in Cold War surveillance. Today, the site has been repurposed into a mixed-use area featuring the Ramey Shopping Center, housing, and the Aguadilla Ice Skating Arena, a unique attraction in the Caribbean. Visitors can see old hangars, a control tower, and a museum at the former base. The area also has parks and a golf course.
