Cruceta del Vigía is a towering cross-shaped structure atop Cerro del Vigía hill, symbolizing Ponce's Christian heritage and serving as a lookout. Visitors take a glass elevator up one arm of the cross to an observation deck that provides sweeping panoramic views of the city, the port, and the Caribbean Sea. The site also includes a small museum about the cross's history and the area's significance. On clear days, the vista stretches for miles, making it a favorite spot for photographers and sunset seekers. The cross is illuminated at night, becoming a beacon visible from across Ponce.
