Citânia de Briteiros is one of the most important archaeological sites of the Castro culture in Portugal. Perched on a hill, the settlement features circular stone houses, paved streets, and a sophisticated water drainage system. Visitors can walk among the ruins and imagine life in a fortified village from the 1st millennium BC. The on-site museum displays artifacts such as pottery, tools, and jewelry, providing context to the site's history.
