The Zamoyski Academy, founded in 1594 by Chancellor Jan Zamoyski, was a prominent university in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, attracting scholars from across Europe. Today, its restored Renaissance building houses the Zamoyski Academy Museum, where visitors can see original lecture halls, a library, and exhibits on the academy's history. The courtyard features elegant arcades and a statue of Zamoyski.
