The Cathedral of the Resurrection and St. Thomas the Apostle serves as the seat of the Diocese of Zamość–Lubaczów, established in 1992. Originally built as a Renaissance church in the 16th century, it was elevated to cathedral status in the late 20th century. The interior features Baroque altars, a striking organ, and frescoes.
