Szczecin Cathedral, officially the Cathedral Basilica of St. James the Apostle, is a historic Gothic church built of red brick, characteristic of the region. Its towering spire, reconstructed after WWII, makes it a prominent landmark. Visitors can explore the ornate interior, including stained-glass windows and a large organ, then climb the tower for sweeping views of the Oder River and city. The cathedral also houses a small museum with religious artifacts.
Don't miss
- Climb the tower for panoramic views of Szczecin and the Oder River
- Admire the modern stained-glass windows depicting saints and biblical scenes
- See the historic organ, one of the largest in Poland, used in concerts
