Rydlówka is a charming wooden manor house that served as the setting for Stanisław Wyspiański's iconic play 'The Wedding' (Wesele), based on a real wedding held here in 1900. Today, it operates as a museum dedicated to the Young Poland movement, preserving the interiors as they were during the famous event. Visitors can tour the rooms filled with period furniture, paintings, and personal mementos of the artists and intellectuals who gathered there. The garden and outbuildings evoke the rural idyll that inspired the play's symbolism.

Don't miss

  • Stand in the room where the actual wedding reception took place
  • View original costumes and props from the play's performances
  • Explore the garden that inspired the play's setting
