The Archer (Łuczniczka) is a celebrated Art Nouveau bronze statue by Ferdinand Lepcke, installed in 1910. It depicts a young woman drawing a bow, and has become a symbol of Bydgoszcz. The sculpture stands in a small park in the city center, surrounded by historic buildings and greenery. Visitors often stop to photograph the graceful figure, which is especially striking against the sky. Despite controversy over its nudity at the time, it is now a beloved landmark.
