Bantay Church, officially known as St. Augustine Parish Church, is a historic religious site in Bantay, just outside Vigan. Its most distinctive feature is the massive bell tower, which stands apart from the main church building and served as a watchtower during the Spanish colonial era. Visitors can climb the tower's steep stairs to reach the top, where they are rewarded with sweeping views of Vigan, the Abra River, and the verdant plains beyond. The church itself, built in the 16th century, features a simple Baroque facade and a peaceful interior with antique religious icons.
