Del Carmen is a municipality on Siargao Island known for its expansive mangrove forest, the largest contiguous mangrove stand in the Philippines. The star attraction is Sugba Lagoon, a crystal-clear emerald lagoon surrounded by limestone cliffs, perfect for kayaking, paddleboarding, and swimming. Visitors can also take a boat tour through the mangrove channels, spotting wildlife like monitor lizards and kingfishers. The area is less developed than General Luna, offering a peaceful escape into nature.
