Manila Cathedral, formally the Minor Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, is the seat of the Archbishop of Manila and a historic landmark in Intramuros. The current structure, rebuilt after World War II, features a Neo-Romanesque facade with intricate carvings and a rose window. Inside, the vaulted ceilings and marble floors create a solemn atmosphere. The cathedral has hosted papal visits and important state events. Visitors can attend mass, light candles, or explore the adjacent museum displaying ecclesiastical treasures.
