Malacañang of the North, located on the shores of Paoay Lake, was built as the official residence of President Ferdinand Marcos in Ilocos Norte. Now a museum, it offers a glimpse into the life and times of the Marcos family. Visitors can tour rooms furnished with original pieces, including the president's office, bedrooms, and a grand dining hall. Exhibits display personal items, photographs, and gifts from foreign dignitaries. The building itself is a blend of modern and traditional Filipino architecture, set amidst lush gardens with views of the lake.
