Pinkuylluna is an Inca storehouse complex dramatically situated on a steep hillside directly across from the Ollantaytambo fortress. The short but steep hike takes about 30–45 minutes, rewarding visitors with close-up views of the well-preserved stone structures that once stored grain. From the top, you get an unparalleled panoramic perspective of the entire Ollantaytambo site and the winding Urubamba River below. The trail is free and less crowded than the main fortress, making it a favorite for photographers and those seeking a quieter experience.
