Sayacmarca, meaning 'inaccessible town,' is a remarkably preserved Inca ruin perched on a rocky spur overlooking the Aobamba River. Its most distinctive feature is a semicircular tower that commands the site, along with narrow alleys and trapezoidal doorways. The strategic location provided both defense and sweeping views. Visitors can walk through the compact layout, marveling at the integration of architecture with the natural terrain.
