The Mount Gerizim Temple is the primary religious site for the Samaritan faith, located atop the mountain that Samaritans consider the true holy place. The temple complex includes a large synagogue where the community gathers for prayers and festivals, especially during Passover when the sacrificial ceremony is performed.
