Sudh, a quiet fishing village about 30 km east of Salalah, is renowned for its rugged coastline where powerful waves crash against volcanic rocks, forcing water through blowholes that spout high into the air. Visitors can walk along the shoreline, watch fishermen haul in their catch, and enjoy the unspoiled sandy beaches. The blowholes are most active during the monsoon season (khareef), but the area remains a peaceful escape year-round, with few facilities and a sense of untouched beauty.

Don't miss

  • Watch seawater erupt from natural blowholes along the rocky coast
  • Stroll along the quiet, sandy beach away from crowds
  • Observe local fishermen and traditional dhow boats
