Prestvannet is a small lake and protected nature reserve situated on the eastern side of Tromsøya, near the city center. The area features a well-maintained walking trail that circles the lake, offering a tranquil escape from urban life. It is a prime spot for birdwatching, with species such as red-throated loons, arctic terns, and various ducks. Benches along the path invite visitors to pause and enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding hills and the lake's reflective waters. In winter, the frozen lake becomes a popular site for ice skating and cross-country skiing.
