Polaria is Tromsø's premier Arctic experience center, combining an aquarium with interactive exhibits on polar climate and ecology. The building itself is designed to resemble a pile of ice floes. Inside, visitors can watch bearded seals glide through a large pool, with daily feeding sessions offering close-up views. A panoramic film, 'Spitsbergen – Arctic Wilderness,' immerses you in Svalbard's landscapes. Exhibits cover everything from sea ice formation to Arctic wildlife adaptations, making it educational for all ages.
