Elverhøy Church is a charming wooden church built in 1803, making it one of the oldest churches in Tromsø. Originally located in the city center, it was moved to its current hilltop site in the 1970s to make way for a new cathedral. Today, it operates as a museum showcasing 19th-century ecclesiastical art and architecture, including an altarpiece and pulpit. The church also serves as an intimate concert venue, hosting classical music and choir performances. Visitors can explore the interior's ornate woodwork and enjoy panoramic views of the city and fjord from the surrounding park.
