Røros Church, also known as Bergstadens Ziir, is a striking octagonal church built in 1784. Its distinctive shape and ornate interior, including a pulpit altar and intricate wood carvings, showcase the prosperity brought by copper mining. The church seats over 1,600 people and is one of Norway's largest wooden churches. Visitors can admire the detailed craftsmanship and the beautiful altarpiece, which depicts biblical scenes.
