Havmannen, or 'The Man from the Sea,' is a monumental 11-meter-tall granite sculpture created by renowned British artist Antony Gormley. Installed in the waters of the Ranfjord, it appears to emerge from the sea, creating a dramatic silhouette against the landscape. The sculpture is a symbol of Mo i Rana, blending modern art with the natural environment. Visitors can view it from the shore or take a boat trip for a closer look. The ever-changing tides and light conditions make each visit unique.
