The Seven Sisters Waterfall is one of the most photographed waterfalls in Norway, located on the northern side of the Geirangerfjord. The waterfall consists of seven separate streams that tumble over the cliff, especially impressive in late spring and early summer when snowmelt is at its peak. According to local legend, the seven streams represent seven sisters dancing down the mountain, while across the fjord, the single Suitor Waterfall (Friaren) is said to be their suitor. Visitors typically view the falls from a fjord cruise or from viewpoints along the Eagle Road.
