The Åndalsnes landings were once the ferry terminal for the Rauma Line, connecting the railway across the river. Today, the site has been transformed into a peaceful recreational area with green spaces, walking paths, and benches overlooking the Rauma River. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and the river's clear waters. It's a popular spot for picnics, fishing, and photography, especially during the midnight sun.
Don't miss
- Walk along the riverbank and enjoy views of the Romsdal Alps
- Fish for salmon in the Rauma River (fishing license required)
- Picnic on the grassy areas near the historic landing site
