Middelburg Town Hall is a masterpiece of Gothic architecture, built between 1452 and 1520. Located on the Markt square, its facade is adorned with 25 statues of the counts and countesses of Holland and Zeeland, added in the 19th century. The building features a striking tower with a carillon, and its interior includes the historic Burgerzaal (Citizens' Hall) with a 16th-century chimney piece. Today, it serves as the city's wedding venue and hosts exhibitions. Visitors can admire the exterior details, including the pointed arches and tracery, and step inside to see the grand halls. The town hall is one of the most photographed landmarks in the Netherlands.
