Der Aa-kerk is a historic Gothic church located along the Aa river in Groningen's city center. Originally built as a Catholic place of worship, it was later used by various Protestant denominations. Today, it has been repurposed as a vibrant cultural venue, hosting classical and contemporary concerts, art exhibitions, and private events. The interior features a striking wooden barrel-vaulted ceiling, stained-glass windows, and a large organ that is still played during performances.
