The Legermuseum (Army Museum) was once located in Delft, housed in a historic armory building. It showcased the history of the Dutch army, with exhibits on uniforms, weapons, vehicles, and wartime artifacts. However, the museum relocated to Soesterberg in 2013, merging with the Military Aviation Museum to form the new Nationaal Militair Museum. The original Delft building, known as the Armamentarium, is a 17th-century structure that now serves as a venue for events and exhibitions. While the military collection is no longer in Delft, visitors interested in military history can visit the new museum in Soesterberg, about an hour away. The Delft building itself is worth a look for its architecture, but there is no museum content inside.
