Shanti Stupa, also known as the World Peace Pagoda, is a gleaming white Buddhist monument situated on a hilltop in Pokhara. Built as a symbol of peace, the pagoda features four statues of Buddha representing his birth, enlightenment, teaching, and death. Visitors can climb the stairs to the stupa and walk around its dome, enjoying uninterrupted 360-degree views that encompass Phewa Lake, the city of Pokhara, and the entire Annapurna range.
