Changu Narayan Temple, perched on a hilltop in Bhaktapur, is the oldest Hindu temple in Nepal and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the temple is a masterpiece of Nepalese architecture, with a two-tiered pagoda roof and a richly adorned facade. The temple complex is surrounded by ancient sculptures, including a 5th-century pillar inscription, and houses intricate woodcarvings and stone statues depicting Vishnu's incarnations.
