Htilominlo Temple is one of Bagan's largest and most recognizable temples, built in the early 13th century. Its massive brick structure rises to 46 meters, with three terraces and a tall spire. The temple is famous for its elaborate stucco decorations on the exterior, including intricate floral patterns and figures of ogres and lions. Inside, four colossal Buddha statues sit against the central pillars, each facing a cardinal direction. The temple's upper floors offer excellent views, and the surrounding area is dotted with smaller stupas and shrines.
