Dhammayazika Pagoda stands out among Bagan's temples for its unusual circular design, a departure from the typical square or rectangular plans. Built by King Narapatisithu in the late 12th century, the pagoda consists of a central bell-shaped stupa surrounded by three concentric terraces. At the four cardinal points, small shrines house Buddha images. The terraces are adorned with glazed terracotta plaques depicting Jataka scenes, similar to Mingalazedi but in a circular layout. Visitors can walk around the terraces, enjoying the symmetry and the serene atmosphere of this less-crowded site.
